£60 million Pulisic deal on way? American ‘has decided’ to join Sarri at Chelsea
Chelsea are set to sign Christian Pulisic after he reportedly decided he wanted to join Maurizio Sarri’s side.
It is no secret that Maurizio Sarri is on the look-out for a long-term replacement for the likes of Eden Hazard and Willian, as both have been heavily linked with moves to Barcelona and Real Madrid over the last few months.
And one man that has been constantly linked with a move to the club is that of Pulisic, who is regarded as one of the most exciting talents in world football after developing very nicely at the German side.
Liverpool and Jurgen Klopp had been chasing Pulisic for several seasons, as he looks to continue building a title winning side, and reports suggested he was open to the idea of working with the former Borussia Dortmund boss at Anfield.
However, the Daily Mail claim we have won the race for Pulisic and an announcement could be confirmed next month ahead of a summer switch.
The report goes on to say a transfer fee is yet to be agreed between Dortmund and the club, but the deal is expected to be worth around £60million.
If reports are true, will Pulisic be a worthwhile investment?
Pulisic is a very young man that has bags of potential, and he just needs to work with a coach that will develop him and take his game to that next level, just like Sarri has done with many youngsters he has coached over the seasons.
So for the £60 million that is being talked about, it could be seen as a real transfer bargain as the 21-year old as the ability to become one of the best midfielders in the game.
