Beek wont come cheap, Pulisic sends classy message, Lampard ordered to sign striker in icchelseanews roundup..

Chelsea have been warned that Ajax star Donny Van De Beek will not come cheap this summer transfer window.

Beek made a massive impact in Europe last season when he helped Ajax regain the League title for a good few years, and also helped the Dutch giants reach the semi-finals of the Champions League, impressing everyone with their attacking football.

That led to speculation in the media suggesting that Beek would be the latest name to leave the club when the next transfer window opens up, with reports claiming that Madrid had already swooped in and agreed a fee with Ajax about a deal for Beek, which meant that we may miss out on another target.

However, no deal has been concluded yet and but we were boosted by the players agent after he came out and revealed that there is still an opportunity for a club like us to swoop in and seal a deal for the brilliant little Dutchman

We are looking for immediate replacements for the departing Pedro and Willian,  there have been rumours that Lampards men may look to try and get another transfer bargain done.

However, former Old Trafford and Fulham keeper Edwin Van Der Sar is adamant that many clubs won’t be able to afford his players after coronavirus lockdown.

He told Reuters: “In January last year, people said we were going to lose seven or eight players but we lost only two key members.

“The big clubs such as Bayern Munich have said the benchmark fee will go down in the next few transfer windows. But it’s easier for them to say because they are the buyers.

“Of course, the 150 million-200 million euros transfers are gone, but I think there is still a lot of value for players who come from Ajax.

“Well educated, experienced in winning and playing European football.”

Chelsea star Christian Pulisic insists he will remain forever grateful to Jurgen Klopp for providing him with his big break at Borussia Dortmund.

Pulisic is still regarded as one of the finest talents in the game right now after turning into a superstar over at the Bundesliga with the German giants.

Yes his move may have not worked out, yet, like many had hoped but there are still many out there that believe he will come good and become a real superstar for the us.

The USA international’s potential was spotted by Klopp, who had just led a star-studded side containing the likes of Mario Gotze, Marco Reus and Ilkay Gundogan to the Champions League final at Wembley.

And now Pulisic has opened up and send a message to his former boss, Pulisc told the 13&MEpodcast: ‘The craziest thing is people don’t realise I started out in the youth teams over there. I was just working hard for that one opportunity I could get.

‘I was going to German school over there and I will never forget that one day I was in class and I looked at my phone and it was a text from my youth coach saying you are training with the first team tonight. The rest of the day I wasn’t even paying attention.

‘I couldn’t think of anything else. ‘I’m getting ready, going to training and it’s just unreal I was 16 or 17 and I’m going in the warm-up and there’s huge names at the time.

‘There’s Aubameyang, Marco Reus, Matts Hummels, Mkhitaryan. All these guys and they were just in the Champions League final the year before.

‘It’s like I’m going in and I’m just this 16-year-old kid. I was thinking just do my best. I was just so excited and I’m just thankful to Jurgen Klopp that he gave me that opportunity. I’ll take that with me forever and I’m really grateful.’

Robbie Savage has urged Frank Lampard to make sure that he signs a top-class number nine for Chelsea, with Lautaro Martinez linked

There has been so much speculation in the media over the past few months about players that we could be bringing in over the summer window, and fans have already started getting frustrated at all the rumours.

However, there is a big feeling around many associated with the club that Lampard needs to spend some serious money and land a striker that will bang in a few goals for next season.

Olivier Giroud is a decent back-up, but fails to find the net on a regular basis, while Michy Batshuayi fails to impress on too many occasions, leaving Lampard with no other options if Abraham needs rest or becomes injured.

Martinez has become one of the most impressive strikers in the Game right now and he has been heavily linked with a move to Barcelona or Chelsea over the past few weeks because of his amazing performances.

Former Premier League star Savage has opened up and urged us to make a move and try ti sign a top-lass striker when the transfer window opens up in just a few months time.

He told the Metro: ‘We know Tammy Abraham has done ever so well under Frank Lampard in the Premier League but possibly another centre-forward.

‘I know Giroud is still there but I just think a No.9 [is needed].’

We want to be challenging for that premier League title once again, they want to be playing Champions League football, but they simply cannot do that when only one of their strikers is scoring.

Martinez is a top-class striker and if we could get a transfer deal done then he would add some serious goals to the side.
