Prem star officially addresses rumours With Chelsea keen to get deal done
Wilfried Zaha insists he is ‘devoted’ to Crystal Palace amid speculation that Chelsea are still interested in a potential deal
Regarded as one of the most dangerous wingers in the Premier League – Zaha has been tipped to leave Crystal Palace for many seasons now – but his asking price has been way too high
However – with his current deal finishing at the end of the current season – we have once again been linked with a move for the attacker – as Graham Potter wants to add a bit more depth to the squad
Zaha scored 14 league goals last season and has continued his impressive form this term, hitting the back of the net five times in 11 games – and he has now come out and addresses all the speculation.
‘How many times have I seen my name next to transfer stuff – I never speak on these things,’ Zaha told Sky Sports.
‘My contract is up when my contract is up and the only thing I am focused on is doing well for the club, that’s it. I take each day as it comes.
‘I don’t know what will happen in the future. I can’t say this is my plan as I’m only fixated on what I’m going to do in training and then on Sunday [against West Ham].
‘I’m very devoted to Palace and that’s all I’m thinking about.’
This is his last chance to play for one of the big clubs – so even though he is devoted to Palace – when a firm offer actually arrives – it will be interesting to see just where he ends up as we cant see him staying at Palace
