Chelsea sent Koulibaly message, Lukaku to cost £102 million and Kalajdzic addresses rumours in top Chelsea news….

Stuttgart striker Sasa Kalajdzic is on Chelsea’s recruitment radar and he has not ruled out a transfer move to the Blues

It is no secret that Thomas Tuchel is a boss that wants to add a striker to the squad this transfer window and has been linked with some superstar players.

England international Tammy Abraham is seeing a switch away from Stamford Bridge mooted after struggling to earn regular game time under Tuchel, and Questions are also being asked of how long Timo Werner will be sticking around in west London despite the German spending just one season with the 2021 Champions League winners

The likes of Harry Kane, Erling Haaland and Robert Lewandowski are the three strikers that are seemingly wanted by the club, but the fact they would cost some serious money has meant that Tuchel is also looking at cheaper alternatives, leading to reports that they are keen on Kalajdzic.

The highly-rated frontman, who stands at 6ft 7, hit 17 goals at club level last season before heading away with Austria on Euro 2020 duty, and is reportedly a player that Tuchel has had his eye on for a while now

Kalajdzic has been quizzed on the speculation he is generating, with a man currently tied to a deal through to 2023 telling Kleine Zeitung: “Of course I can imagine extending my contract, but that would also have to fit. It’s not just me who decides that; it’s also decided by others.

“Something would have to come along that would just fit, and then we’ll see. If there’s something that really impresses me, where I say I want to do that, then I’ll do it.

“I am relaxed. I don’t really think about it much. I’m just here right now, having fun with my friends and trying to prepare for every single training session.”

Napoli manager Luciano Spalletti is reportedly keen to keep long-term Chelsea target Kalidou Koulibaly at the club.

Koulibaly is easily regarded as one of the most powerful and dominant players in the Italian Leagues, and has developed into one of the most impressive defenders in world football, which has alerted all the biggest clubs.

There has been alot of speculation that we are still very much interested in trying to sign Koulibaly, should he come onto the market, as Thomas Tuchel wants the perfect partner for Thiago Silva

There has been alot of talk that Raphael Varane is another target that the club want, but with the rumours suggesting that nothing is close, as we said, we will be interested in Koulibaly if a deal for Varane does not happen

However, they will have a very hard time trying to get the player as Italian Journalist Fabrizio Romano has come out and claimed that Spalletti is doing all he can to make sure that his powerful defender is kept this summer.

Fabrizio Romano tweeted:: “I’m ready to chain myself to keep Koulibaly here at Napoli”. 🔵 #Napoli

‘Napoli sources confirm there’s still no official bid’

Koulibaly is world class there is no doubt about that, so it is very easy to see just why the club are very keen to get a deal done if they miss out on trying to sign Varane

He has all the attributes to adapt to the Premier League, so it will be interesting to see if he stays put this summer or moves on, as there is alot of interest in his services guys

Chelsea will have to submit an offer of at least £102.5m if they are to resign Romelu Lukaku this summer, according to reports.

The 28-year-old has developed into one of the best strikers in the world, scoring 64 goals in 95 matches for Inter Milan last season and helping Antonio Conte’s side win the Serie A title.

Lukaku has continued his fine form during Euro 2020, netting three goals in four games to help Belgium progress to the quarter-finals, and there has been alot of talk that he could make a sensational return back to the Premier League.

Thomas Tuchel is a man that knows he needs to keep improving the squad that he currently has and it is widely expected that a number of top-class players will be arriving at the Bridge over the next few months

According to Tuttosport, though, Inter want to keep hold of their talisman – despite their precarious financial situation – and would demand a nine-digit fee if any club was intent on prising him away

The report adds that we will have to pay around £102 million to secure a transfer deal for the big man

Former England international Peter Crouch recently claimed a move back to the club could suit, He told Paddy Power: ‘Romelu Lukaku has to be a target for Premier League clubs, without a doubt.

‘Look at the money you’d have to spend to get Erling Haaland, Kylian Mbappe or even Harry Kane. It would cost a lot less to get Lukaku, yet he’s a banker for Premier League goals.

‘He gets better every season and I wouldn’t bet against him winning the Euros Golden Boot now. Belgium are a top side and he’s going to get more goals.

‘The obvious English destination is Chelsea, though. He’d fit in there. They’ve got pace, which suits him, willing runners, and they’d have an abundance of ability around him.

‘He’s been at Chelsea before and I think he’s got something to prove there. I could see him being a good fit under Thomas Tuchel.

‘Similarly, if Chelsea sign Erling Haaland, they are title contenders without a doubt. They’ve got a squad capable of a title challenge and will have confidence after winning the Champions League.

‘If they get Haaland, they’re 100% in it. It’s going to be a fascinating season to see if anyone can topple Manchester City.’
