Spanish star Marc Guia has opened up and revealed that he is very happy with his decision to join CHELSEA in the summer, after he made the shock decision to leave Barcelona.

Guiu has barely had a sniff this term despite impressing over the club’s pre-season tour of the United States over the summer. Signed for as little as £5million from Barcelona, the 18-year-old striker has made only a handful appearances in all competitions this season for the Blues.

There has been some reports in the media that the club could look to loan him to a Championship side to try and get him some invaluable experience playing English football and becoming more accustomed to the physicality required.

However – the young Spaniard has confirmed that he is very happy at Stamford Bridge – he told the club website: ‘So far, it’s been an amazing journey,’ he reflects on his start to life at Stamford Bridge.

‘I’m very happy. There are a lot of young players and a lot of staff at the club that are helping me to get to know everyone, and how things work. They’ve all been super welcoming.

‘My objective now is to win as many trophies as I can, and contribute as many goals as I can to the team.’

But we are happy that he is at the club
