Potter told to try and sign Chelsea World Class striker

Graham Potter needs to make sure that he signs a world class striker for Chelsea in the coming transfer window – according to reporter Iomie Stanley.

Despite all the speculation and all the rumours – former boss Thomes Tuchel was unable to get the world class striker that he desired, and the club ended up with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

Aubameyang is a man that was enjoying life in La Liga after moving from Arsenal – but when Robert Lewandowski arrived – he was forced into looking elsewhere and in the end – was forced to come back to the Premier League.

But he has struggled for game time – has struggled to perform and quite honestly – looks noting like the player that was scoring goals for fun over at the Camp Nou.

And going into the January window – reporter Iomie Stanley has told Potter to make sure that he signs a new striker in January.

‘Right now there are too many players at Chelsea that are simply not performing – that are simply not living upto expectations.

‘Potter is missing that Erling Haaland – that Ivan Toney – that Harry Kane in the squad and needs to make sure that he gets one in January.

‘Chelsea will struggle to get back into the top three by the end of the season with the attack they have right now – and if Potter wants to keep his job – that will need to change.

‘It is very difficult to sign a proven striker in the winter window – but Chelsea have the money to get any deal done – so they need to make the right decisions and sign players that can make a real difference.

Chelsea fans are calling for the head of Potter already – so if the board believe he can take them into the future – they need to back him.’
