Here is a roundup of the top Chelsea news and gossip from us that we believe you guys may have missed today –

CHELSEA are among the teams in the race to sign Borussia Dortmund midfielder Mahmoud Dahoud,

So far this season, the midfielder has started just three games in the Bundesliga and has not featured in any of Dortmund’s Champions League games so far, as he struggles to make any impact on the Bundesliga giants.

That has meant that the decision has already been made that the club will not be looking to renew the contract of the midfielder this season and will allow him to depart the club.

“I had a very open and honest conversation with Mo last week. I informed him that we would not be extending his contract in the summer,’ Dortmund’s sporting director Sebastian Kehl said last month.

‘Mo has been with us for six years now, he is a very good footballer and I really have a very high opinion of him in terms of sport and personality. Nevertheless, we decided to take this step.’

According to Sky Germany, Dahoud is not short of offers as several clubs have already made enquiries ahead of the summer window.

Graham Potter knows that the Blues will have alot of games to play next season with the Europa League, and knows that he needs to add some more depth to the squad.

Dahoud may not be the biggest name that has been linked with a move to CHELSEA. – but he is certainly a player that has proven himself at the top of the game.

Chelsea told to sign Kane –

CHELSEA have been told to try to sign attacking star Harry Kane from Tottenham in the summer window

After weeks of speculation and rumours – the club managed to complete a loan deal for the talented Joao Felix that would see the talented attacker stay at the club until the end of the season.

The Blues have an option to make that loan switch more permanent – although the Spaniards wants close to £120 million – but there is a feeling that we need to make sure that they sign a striker that could bang in at least 30 goals a season.

Christopher Nkunku from RB Leipzig is expected to arrive after a fee was agreed earlier this season between the clubs. Despite the attacking changes, the club are looking to bolster the forward line even more and former Blues winger Florent Malouda has told the club to sign Harry Kane.

He told DAZN Bet: CHELSEA should definitely join the race for Harry Kane. Kane is a world-class player who knows the Premier League, and it is an era where Chelsea need a striker with his goalscoring record and the ambition to win trophies. If Kane ever leaves Tottenham, it will be because of the lack of trophies.

‘Kane would be a great signing, but I’d be surprised if he left Tottenham for Chelsea because of the rivalry. It’s not like leaving Tottenham for Arsenal, but to leave Tottenham for Chelsea, I’d be surprised but anything is possible.

“He’s a great option for any club in the Premier League, and for Chelsea he’d be a great pick.”

This is surely the last season that Tottenham fans will see Kane in that Shirt – it is about time that he leaves the club to win some silverware.

We would love him here – but cant see it happening.

Potter wants to keep Mount –

Graham Potter has opened up and admitted that he has told Mason Mount that he is part of the plans at CHELSEA

Mount has been a massive player for the club over the past few bosses and has been constantly made the clubs player of the season – but this year he has barefly featured for Graham Potter.

He has not been as effective – he has not been able to make the impact that Potter would have liked and has found himself on the bench more often than not – and with his contract running down – there has been alot of speculation regarding his future.

The club simply do not want to pay the midfielder the kind of wages that he is reportedly demanding – and that has led to alot of speculation in the media that he is a player that Jurgen Klopp would like to sign at the end of the season.

In an interview with Football.London – Potter has revealed that he has told Mount that he would like him to stay at Stamford Bridge – he said: “Ultimately it is between the club and Mason. I have spoken to him numerous times about his situation, football and life generally. My feelings for Mason are clear.

“He is a fantastic person firstly but sometimes these things happen. They are just complicated and it is best that I speak little about it, let them get on with it in deciding what is right for both parties.”

He was then asked if he has told Mount he if he wants him to stay – he added:  “Yes, but I am not naive. I know it is an important time for him and an important contract. These things have to be right for him and his family. It’s important he makes a decision on that basis.”
