Potter responds to potential £400k-a-week Chelsea signing
Chelsea manager Graham Potter is ‘unenthused’ by the prospect of signing Cristiano Ronaldo
Ronaldo is a player that has been in the headlines for all the wrong reasons this season and is once again tipped to pack his bags and Leave Manchester United in the next transfer window
The 37-year-old hit out at Erik ten Hag and the club’s hierarchy in an interview with Piers Morgan.
Speaking about Ten Hag, Ronaldo said: ‘I don’t have respect for him because he doesn’t show respect for me.
‘If you don’t have respect for me, I’m never gonna have respect for you.’
And that has once again opened the speculation that we are ready to swoop in and take him to Stamford Bridge – as Ted Boehly is a massive fan of the Portuguese superstar.
According to MailOnline, Boehly could reignite his interest in Ronaldo and may hold further talks with Jorge Mendes over a potential deal.
But Potter is understood to be as ‘equally unenthused’ as Tuchel at the prospect of having Ronaldo in his Chelsea squad.

Ronaldo being on the market is nothing new – he is becoming more trouble than he is worth.
A few years ago he would have been a brilliant signing for the club – but he is past his best and honestly – would bring too much wanted attention to the Bridge
