Boss announces pure delight after powerhouse completes Chelsea move

Brighton Boss Graham Potter is delighted that the club have managed to sign Levi Colwill from Chelsea on loan for the season

After a few weeks of speculation and rumours – it was revealed at the weekend that the club had managed to complete the signing of Marc Cucurella from Brighton in a deal worth £50 million

But as part of the deal – Brighton wanted to take the talented Colwill on loan for the season as they were one of many clubs that were interested in giving him a chance in the Premier League

The young man is one of the hottest talents at the club – but he is not yet ready to be part of Thomas Tuchel’s side – and they opted to let him to go to Brighton in order to sweeten the deal for Cucurella

And after seeing Colwill arrive at the club – boss Graham Potter has opened up and admitted just how delighted he is with the move – Head coach Potter said, “Levi has enormous potential and has already shown his ability last season in the Championship and with England at various age group levels up to under-21s.

“I am really looking forward to working with him on the training pitch, and in matches over the course of the season.

“He plays mostly at centre-back but has also played on the left as a full-back, and he is a player who is comfortable on the ball.”

Colwill is a very talented young player that has a bright future in the game – so this is a perfect move for the lad as it will give him time to showcase his talents in the Premier League
