Mauricio Pochettino sends direct message to Chelsea board regarding transfers

Mauricio Pochettino says he is planning to talk to CHELSEA‘s sporting directors about possible January signings in the coming days.
We have been one of the biggest spenders in the last couple of transfer windows, but have struggled to get going this season and are well off the pace for that Premier League title.
Pochettino knows that he needs to delve into that transfer kitty during the January window to add players to the side that will be more than capable of making an impact on the squad.
And After his side clung onto a 3-2 victory at Luton on Saturday, the Blues manager said: “Of course we always have good communication. We are not worried about that.
“We are going to assess now, we have a few days, but the plan is to talk and see if we need to do something or not.
“The most important thing in my opinion is to work with the squad we have. It’s a very good squad and now it’s about pushing them to step up.
“I really believe in my squad. It’s the circumstances we need to recover from. Injuries have given us some set-backs, like [Romeo] Lavia.
“It’s about being focused on helping the young players and the not-so-young players improve.”

Pochettino will know what type of player he needs to help drive the club forward, and if the board believe that he is the man to lead the club back to the very top – then they should listen and back the man.
