Headline taking star told to get Chelsea transfer deal done
Former CHELSEA midfielder Emmanuel Petit has had his say on his former club and encouraged the likes if Raheem Sterling to leave the club this transfer window if he is not wanted at Stamford Bridge.
Sterling has been all over the headlines over the past few days every since news broke that he was left out of the squad for the opening Premier League game of the season, and then dropped from the training sessions with the first team.
There has been alot of speculation about where the player could end up – but it is believed that he would rather stay at the club and stay in the Premier League rather than force a move to club that he doesnt want to join.
But amid all the speculation and rumours – former Blues star Emmanuel Petit has now opened up and encouraged the likes of Sterling to leave the club if he has the opportunity too: “If you’re Sterling or any CHELSEA player and have the chance to leave the club, I would take it. Honestly, I don’t see how Enzo Maresca can rescue this, he’s not a magician,” he told Safest Casino Sites.
“You could put Pep Guardiola or Jurgen Klopp in charge of the team and it will still take months to find a first XI and make everyone happy in the squad. They’re all young players signing huge contracts for eight to nine years.
“Look at Conor Gallagher, he’s another example. Where is he? At the airport? I have no idea. It’s a pity because he’s a very good player.
“I was not surprised by the result against Manchester City on Sunday, how can you build a team spirit between players when you put too much competition for positions in the first XI? It’s nonsense, there’s no confidence in the players.
‘We’ve seen this for a couple of years now and it doesn’t look like anything will change.”
