Official Statement released after Chelsea officially bring defender Williams to the Bridge

Derby have announced that Chelsea have signed exciting left-back Dylan Williams.
We have been in the transfer headlines alot over the past few months with much speculation about the kind of players that Thomas Tuchel will bring to the club in order to improve his squad.
It has been no secret that a new left-back is wanted at the club, and many fans have been excited to see just what top-class defender would be brought in, especially with some big names linked.
But fans who believe that Williams will be put into that first team will have to think again, as the teenager is unlikely to be making an immediate impact on the first team and will probably go into the Under-23 squad in west London.
The 18-year-old left-back has made just eight first team appearances for the Rams, six of which have come in the Championship, but has clearly done enough to catch the eye of the Premier League giants, who may believe he is a player for the future
Announcing the news on Monday morning, Derby said in a statement: “Dylan Williams has today left Derby County to sign for Premier League club Chelsea.
“Williams made the step up to the first-team fold at the start of the current campaign, initially in the Carabao Cup, and went on to record eight appearances in all competitions.
“Everyone at Derby County would like to wish Dylan every success in the next chapter of his career at Chelsea and in the future.”

We are not having the best of seasons and do have a number of issues, so it would not be a surprise to see that Williams is the only player that makes a move to the Bridge, they have a world class squad.
There are only a few days left of the window, will Tuchel get anymore players?
