Another Chelsea announcement to happen this week as star to move

Callum Hudson-Odoi is close to a CHELSEA departure as he closes in on a summer move to Fulham.

Kalidou Koulibaly, Edouard Mendy and N’Golo Kante have moved to the Saudi Pro League, while Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Christian Pulisic have both joined AC Milan. Club captain Cesar Azpilicueta has left for Atletico Madrid.

A few seasons ago Hudson-Odoi was regarded as the future of the club – a special talent that doesnt come around too often and a player that the club had massive hopes for

However – he had failed to reach the heights that many expected and last summer – he was allowed to leave the club on loan for the season in hope of getting some much needed game time with Bayer Leverkusen

The winger – once valued at £60 million – made a number of starts for the German outfit – but once again failed to live upto the hype and the decision was made to not make the move a permanent now.

WHAT IS THE LATEST –

Sky Sports report that Fulham are approaching a deal with the club for the winger, and There is said to be optimism that a deal can be finalised this week as the 22-year-old edges towards a move.

Hudson-Odoi has come through the academy at Stamford Bridge and made 126 senior appearances for the club.

He spent last season on loan at Bayer Leverkusen and now looks set to move across west London to Fulham.
