Bridge opens up and admits he wants £150m superstar to be signed, Chelsea told possible Premier League signing ‘will be good option’ for the club, Neymar makes contract admission
Neymar issues contract announcement, Chelsea told to sign Aguero and Bridge would like Kane at Chelsea in Chelsea latest…
Neymar has opened up and told the likes of Chelsea that he plans to stay at PSG and sign a new contract with the French giants.
Regarded as one of the finest players in world football right now, the £100 million rated superstar had been tipped to leave the French giants in the summer window amid rumours that he could not agree a new contract.
We have been linked with a move for the Brazilian, but after PSG reached another semi-Final, he has come out and told chasing clubs, and his own fans, that he intends to sign a new contract.
Speaking to ESPN Brazil after the game, Neymar said: “This (renewal with PSG) is no longer an issue. Obviously I feel very comfortable and at home here at PSG. I feel happier than I was before.”
PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi added his belief that neither Neymar nor Kylian Mbappe have any reason to leave the club.
“We have invested a lot in the club to win the Champions League and all the trophies available,” Al-Khelaifi told RMC Sport.
“Neymar and Kylian have no excuse to leave. We really have everything to win all the tournaments.
“We have a great team today. We have respect for the others but we are there with them. We are working.
“And it is not over. We need to continue, to remain calm because the Champions League is not finished. We need to work more each day.
“The belief is there. The secret is work. The details make the difference too.”
Wayne Bridge has told Chelsea that Sergio Aguero would be a very good option in the summer, if they are looking to add another striker to the attack.
Timo Werner has scored just once in his last 20 Premier League games, while Kai Havertz hasn’t scored since September. Although Hakim Ziyech and Mason Mount have chipped in with several strikes in recent weeks, Tuchel has admitted that his forwards are falling short.
That has led to speculation in the media that a move for Aguero, who is out of contract at City in the summer and leaving the Champions-elect, opening the door to a free move happening.
‘There could be a few of these players moving – Haaland and Mbappe – and I’d love to see Chelsea snap one of them up, even Aguero,’ he was quoted on Goal. ‘He’s leaving City and I don’t think he’s past it, he’s always going to get you goals. When I played with him at City he was just unbelievable and I think he’s still got it.
[the_ad id=”164″]‘Tammy Abraham and Olivier Giroud have done well, Havertz has been playing better and Werner has shown glimpses when playing out wide and he looks quite good out there. ‘I look at my time at Chelsea and we had Hasselbaink, Ider Gudjohnsen, Drogba and Anelka, then after my time Costa, and I don’t see a player in the current team as good as any of these were.
‘Strikers at Chelsea have something to prove and the ones we had were world-class.
‘When you are bought for a fee everyone expects you to hit the ground running and I think there’s pressure on you no matter what, but at Chelsea having people like Drogba and Costa means new players have to live up to that pressure as well.’
Wayne Bridge has opened up and announced that he would love Chelsea to sign Harry Kane from Tottenham in the summer transfer window.
Jose Mourinho’s side have struggled for consistency but Kane has still been a regular source of goals, scoring 29 in 42 appearances across all competitions – while also laying on 16 assists.
The 27-year-old is still looking for his first piece of silverware, and it has been suggested he will seek a new challenge if Spurs finish the season empty-handed and outside of the Champions League places
And that has led to some speculation in the media that we may try to acquire the services of Harry Kane in the summer window, as Thomas Tuchel knows he needs to add a proven forward to the attack in order to win back that Premier League title.
‘I’d love to see Kane go there, I think he’s brilliant,’ Bridge told bettingexpert.com
‘Sometimes money talks. If you look at how Tottenham are doing at the moment, I think there’s a great chance he could end up leaving if he wants to go and win something. ‘I’m not sure if he would go, but I’d love to see him come in and start banging in goals for Chelsea.
We are a massive club and will be a massive threat next season, but Spurs would not want to sell to a rival unless they offered crazy amounts of money that was too good to turn down.
We would be a good move for the man, but we believe that this will not happen as Spurs will do all they can to make sure that their star player is signed by another Premier League club.
But it will be interesting to see where he ends up because Spurs will be even shitter without him
