Here is a roundup of the top Chelsea news, gossip and transfer latest from icchelseanews that we think you guys may have missed…

CHELSEA transfer target Alexander Isak has reportedly made his mind up about his next move and reportedly wants to move to Liverpool this summer after telling Newcastle he wants to leave.

Newcastle made it clear earlier in the transfer window Isak was not for sale this week when Liverpool stepped up their interest in the striker. The Magpies value Isak, who scored 23 Premier League goals last season, at £150m at least.

However  – He missed their pre-season game against Celtic on Saturday, with Eddie Howe admitting that was partly down to speculation, as well as a thigh niggle.

But a few days ago came the news that he had been left out of the squad for Newcastle’s pre-season tour – and then that he had told the club he wanted to explore his options in the transfer window.

With a £150million price tag, there aren’t too many options – especially when you discount Saudi Arabia, but reports have claimed that Chelsea are ready to make their move to land one of the clubs long-term targets.

CHELSEA are reportedly prepared to offer Jackson and Sterling as part of the deal that would secure the signing of Isak, as the Blues are looking to get Sterlings £325k-a-week wages off the books, while Jackson will not be needed as much as he was last campaign.

But according to the Guardian, the Swedish striker has outlined his desire to move to Anfield despite interest from a host of European clubs, including Chelsea, as the Reds are the club he is really excited about joining.

HATO MOVE MADE

Reports have claimed Arsenal are preparing a bid for Ajax centre-back Jorrel Hato, who has reportedly been in talks with CHELSEA over a move to the Premier League.

Since Chelsea brought Enzo Maresca in as coach of the club, alot of things have changed the dynamics of the Premier League and the Blues are now one of the favourites to challenge for that Premier League title next season

Maresca has brought a belief back to the club that has now won two trophies in the last few months, and has also managed to build a squad that is one of the most enjoyable to watch in the English top-flight.

The club have multiple central defensive options already but the report claims that Axel Disasi could leave amid interest from Villarreal. The Blues are hoping to earn around £30m ($40m) if they sell the centre-back, who spent the second half of the 2024-25 season on loan at Aston Villa.

Per talkSPORT recently claimed that CHELSEA have opened talks over a deal to sign Hato from Ajax as they seek defensive reinforcements this summer.

And  Hato is also understood to be keen on a move to Stamford Bridge and the club are now directly negotiating with Ajax over a possible deal for the 19-year-old.

But despite the fact the teenager has been heavily linked with Chelsea, according to De Telegraaf, the Gunners have made contact with the Dutch club over a move.

This is just surely a rumour, we are sure that he wont want to make the move to Arsenal – Stamford Bridge is the place to be, we are European and World Champions

CHELSEA TO SELL JACKSON

Fresh reports have again claimed CHELSEA would consider an offer for striker Nicolas Jackson if the right offer arrives this summer transfer window, according to reports.

Chelsea have already bolstered their attacking options this summer with a £30 million deal to sign Liam Delap from Ipswich Town and a £60m move for Joao Pedro from Brighton last month, and there is talk that they will continue their summer of spending.

The Athletic report that Jackson is not deemed as ‘untouchable’ at the club and could be sold if they receive a high enough offer, especially after reports emerged claiming that Newcastle have now made their moves to sign the striker.

The Toon are in the market for a new striker after star man Alexander Isak handed in a transfer request last week, and the club are now eager to replace the 23-goal star in the Next couple of days.

And amid all the speculation and rumours, reporter Iomie Stanley told icfootballnews: ‘Manager Enzo Maresca opted for João Pedro and Liam Delap in the Club World Cup, with Jackson limited to his game time

‘Jackson is only 24, so a move could provide a fresh environment to rebuild confidence and form—especially after injury disruptions and joining a club where he’s the focal point—rather than competing with a crowded forward line—might fully unlock his potential.

‘Given Chelsea’s overhaul up front, Jackson’s disciplinary issues, and sustained interest from strong suitors, a summer exit makes sense. He’d secure more minutes, rebuild form, and reignite his trajectory—while CHELSEA potentially cashing in.
