Frank Lampard has ordered Chelsea to make a move for Arsenal target Hakim Ziyech.

There has been alpot speculation that Mikel Arteta is seeking to spend a big amount of money and bring in a few more players by the end of the transfer window, with Ziyech a name that has been mentioned as a possible arrival at the Emirates.

The 26-year-old was one of the standout stars of Ajax’s squad last season, weighing in with 21 goals and 24 assists in 49 games from a wide midfield position as he helped Ajax clinch their first League title in five years while also reaching the semi-finals of the Champions League.

Arsenal were heavily linked with a move for the winger during the summer window, but the Arsenal made the decision to make a move and bring Nicolas Pepe to the club in a deal worth £72 million, but despite some glimpses of his talent, he has not yet lived upto expectations.

But amid speculation that Arsenal are lining up another move for Ziyech, The ESPN website has claimed that Lampard has told the club that he would like to sign the Ajax winger at the end of the season, as he looks to splash some cash.

We have some very exciting youngsters in the squad at the moment, but Frank Lampard seems to be having real issues getting some end product from the likes of Christian Pulisic and Callum Hudson-Odoi, and it is believed that he wants to add something different to his attack in the summer.

Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha is being “pushed to Chelsea”, according to transfer expert Duncan Castles.

We were expected to make many moves during the January transfer window in order to add some extra quality to certain areas of the pitch, especially as Frank Lampard needs to get back inside the top four this season in order to attract the type of players he wants in the summer.

And that has led to surprising speculation in the media suggesting that we are ready to spend some serious money and acquire the services of Zaha, who has developed nicely over the past few years and is now one of the best wingers in the Premier League.

Reports have even gone on to say that we were willing to use Olivier Giroud as part of the deal that gets Zaha to Stamford Bridge, with the Frenchman seemingly on his way out of the club after failing to make an impact this season under Frank Lampard.

Speaking on the Transfer Window Podcast, he said: “We know Zaha wants out of Crystal Palace, we know that a number of agents have had mandates to move him in this window.

“We know he is being pushed to Chelsea and there is interest from Chelsea’s hierarchy in taking him.

“My information is that Palace want to hold onto Zaha for the rest of the season for understandable reasons because he is the centre point of their attack.”

Roma have contacted Chelsea about a deal for Spanish winger Pedro.

There has been a lot of transfer speculation surrounding this transfer window, but despite all the rumours, Blues fans have become frustrated at the lack of signings under Frank Lampard.

We have some issues injury issues that need to be resolves in the last few days of the transfer window, but it seems that it will not be just players coming in over the next few days as it seems that Pedro is a wanted an.

Citing a report by Sky Sports Italia, the paper indicates the Serie A side have made contact with Chelsea over the Spanish winger as they look to bolster their squad in the midst of an injury crisis.

‘Roma have been forced into the market after watching a number of their stars fall to injury, with the physio room starting to become a crowded place,’ states the report.

‘Nicolo Zaniolo is out for the rest of the season after rupturing his cruciate ligament, while Davide Zappacosta, on loan from Chelsea, should be out until at least March with the same problem.

‘Arsenal loanee Henrikh Mkhitaryan, meanwhile, has a muscle strain and winger Mirko Antonucci has been ruled out with an ankle blow. Amadou Diawara rounds off their fitness woes as he is carrying a knee problem.

‘Roma are therefore looking to bolster their squad as they look to maintain their grip on the final Champions League place this season. Paulo Fonseca’s men are fourth but just one point above challengers Atalanta, and the experience of Pedro would be a huge asset.’

Chelsea have tabled a £4.6m (€5.5m) bid for Napoli star Dries Mertens, it’s claimed.

Despite their decent start to the new season and the fact they have some of the best creative players in the Premier League, with the likes of Willian, Mateo Kovacic, Jorginho and Mason Mount just a few names to be mentioned, there is a lot of speculation about who Frank Lampard could sign.

It is no secret that we are in need of adding a striker to the side this transfer window as star man Tammy Abraham has picked up an injury, Michy Batshuayi is decent on his day and Olivier Giroud is seemingly destined to get his p45 and marching orders.

And after reportedly missing out on the likes of Moussa Dembele and Edinson Cavani, reports have now claimed that we will have to turn our attentions elsewhere, with reports claim the we are closing in on Mertens.

The Belgian is also set to become a free agent at the end of the season after seven years in Naples and he’s already said to be in talks with tus about a possible move to Stamford Bridge this month for a small fee.

Lampard has been pressuring the Chelsea board to sign a striker before the transfer deadline shuts, and and Italian journalist Tancredi Palmeri says we have made a move for Napoli’s Mertens.

He tweeted: “Chelsea have bid 5.5m€ for Napoli’s Mertens who will be free agent at the end of the season.”

Look, there is not a lot of time left in the transfer window to get deals done and if he are seeking to nail down Mertens, we should get a deal wrapped up soon as the £4.6 million asking price is not alot of money to spend.
