World Cup Winner ‘is what Chelsea needs’ – fans told

Pundit Darren Bent has claimed that Aston Villa stopper Emi Martinez is the kind of goalkeeper that CHELSEA needs.

We made some big signings last summer that they believed would help the club challenge for a Champions League spot and maybe add some silverware to the cabinet.

One arrival that was made was that of Robert Sanchez – who was no longer wanted at Brighton and was quickly signed up by the Blues as they were desperate to add a new stopper to the side.

He has been a massive part of that side this season – but he is not seen as a man that is good enough to play for one of the big Premier League clubs and has really struggled to impress.

That has led to alot of speculation in the media that we will once again delve into that transfer kitty and add a new goalkeeper to the side – as both Aaron Ramsdale and Martinez have been linked with a move.

Ramsdale is seemingly done at the Emirates and When asked about the clubs transfer links to Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale, Bent replied to talkSPORT: “That would be unbelievable.

However – the pundit opened up and claimed that Martinez is the stopper we need – he added: “I think they’ve been linked with Emi Martinez as well. Now that’s the one. Obviously I can’t see him leaving Villa.’
