Maresca asks Chelsea board to sign £54M Frenchman for Blues
It has been claimed that new CHELSEA boss Enzo Maresca has told the club that he would like Jules Kounde signed from Barcelona
Kounde is a player that the club have been linked with ever since his days with Sevilla – but have never been able to convince the Frenchman that a move to the Premier League is one he needs to make.
However – Kounde’s future in Spain now looks uncertain as the Spaniards are going to sell a number of players in the coming transfer window in hope that they can freshen up the side after a disappointing campaign.
He has already attracted interest from several European giants including Paris Saint-Germain, Inter and Manchester United
But now reports in Spain have claimed that Enzo Maresca has personally asked the board to sign Kounde from Barcelona as the Frenchman star fits the style of play that he would like to employ at Stamford Bridge.

The club allowed Thiago Silva to leave the club and head back to Brazil – so they will need to sign a ready-made replacement for the world class act, But Kounde is a man that they have wanted for some time and is a player that could be one of the best – he would be a brilliant signing.
