Frenchman announces Brand new Blues capture – ‘is a very good signing’ for Chelsea

Florent Malouda is confident incoming CHELSEA signing Christopher Nkunku will be a huge hit at Stamford Bridge.

After months of transfer speculation – it was us that managed to beat off the likes of Manchester United and Liverpool to the signature of Nkunku – who is on his way to the club at the beginning of the summer.

And Malouda is confident his compatriot will succeed where others have failed, and compared Nkunku to Newcastle’s exciting Alan Saint-Maximin.

‘Nkunku is a fully-fledged France international, who left the PSG Academy and made the right decision to move to Germany,’ the former Chelsea winger told Boyle Sports.

‘I think this is the type of player CHELSEA is actually missing, who are hungry and want to prove themselves. The timing was great for Chelsea to get him as there would have been so many clubs looking at him.

‌’He got a great assist recently and he will bring so much quality to the Premier League, if I had to compare him to anyone, it would be Allan Saint-Maximin.

‌’He always wants to try things in the final third, he wants to create or shoot for himself and he is not afraid to take risks.

‘Now, it is more about the development of the player and how Chelsea can help him adapt to the Premier League.

‘It’s a very good signing for Chelsea, but no Champions League, so they have to make sure he adapts quickly and gets proper game time.’

Nkunku has proven that he is a top player, in the Bundesliga.

If he is able to come to the Premier League – the best in world football – and produce the kind of numbers that he has at Leipzig – he will be a very good signing
