£30M powerhouse to sign for Chelsea as part of Mount deal

Harry Maguire could join Chelsea as part of Manchester United’s offer for Mason Mount this summer.

Mount has been one of the most outstanding players for the club over the past few seasons and a man that every manager that has been there can really rely on.

However – he has really struggled to make an impact this season – with injuries and lacklustre performances leading to suggestions that he is now down at the club – that he will be allowed to leave.

He’s been linked with a host of clubs already, including Liverpool and Manchester United, and it has also been claimed that we will demand a massive £70 million to allow him to go.

Now – talkSPORT understands that Man United are edging closer to signing Mount after agreeing personal terms with the player.

And the reports now claim that Maguire may be offered to the club as part of a sensational package to help the signing go through.

According to The rumours , the Red Devils are some distance away from agreeing a fee with the club as the club look to bring in around £70million for their midfielder.

And Maguire, who is valued at around £30million, could be used to sweeten the deal, with the England international almost certain to leave Old Trafford this summer.

Fans will not want this to happen – Maguire is not worth the hassle.

He is a leader on the pitch – but he is not a top-level defender anymore and if United are looking to offer a player as part of the deal – they will need to do better than Maguire.
