Spaniards want to get deal done with Chelsea over impressive star

Real Madrid want to make Kepa Arrizabalaga’s loan move from CHELSEA permanent and are willing to offer their second choice goalkeeper as part of the deal.
Kepa has made 12 appearances so far this season and has helped Real Madrid to the top of La Liga and three straight Champions League victories.
But come next summer, he’ll have just one year left on his contract meaning Real could secure his services for a cut-price fee if the Blues decide that they no longer wanted to keep him at the club, which is very much a likely option.
Having signed Kepa on loan during the summer, Real Madrid are prepare to strike a permanent deal. But The Sun reports Los Blancos will only pay £17.5 million ($21m), which would mean a huge loss for Chelsea on the £72m ($88m) they paid for him in 2018 – which remains a world-record transfer fee for a goalkeeper.
The player is said to be willing to accept a wage cut for it to happen, though.
The Spanish star recently come out and revealed that he would like to stay at Madrid on a permanent deal, telling Spanish TV, as quoted by Fabrizio Romano: Of course I’d love to stay at Real Madrid in the future.
‘Who doesn’t want to stay at this club? I’m very, very happy here.’
Kepa has also spoken about the decision to leave CHELSEA in the summer: ‘The loan to Madrid was very quick,’ Kepa told AS. ‘Everything was sealed in a few hours, with just two phone calls.
‘I had spent five seasons at a big club, Chelsea, and I thought a change could be good for me. It’s true that there was the option of Bayern… but Real Madrid called and I didn’t have to think about it.
‘If there were other opportunities before it didn’t matter, what matters is that it became a reality last summer.’
