Chelsea news: Pundit wants £325k-a-week star ‘to bangs in the goals’

CHELSEA striker Romelu Lukaku has ‘lost his way’ and needs to hit ground running at Roma to rediscover his form.
Lukaku was at Inter Milan on loan last season and almost helped the Italians win the Champions League – but they were unable to get past the dominant Man City.
His loan deal at the Italians ended at the beginning of the summer – and there has been alot of speculation about his future – with many clubs linked with a possible deal after the club made the decision to let him leave.
But despite the fact we dont have a proven striker – the decision has been made to allow Lukaku to depart the club and a move back to Italian football is the move that he most desires.
WHAT HAS HAPPENED –
Lukaku will be signing with Rome this transfer window, but It will be a loan deal with no obligation to buy which will see Lukaku reunite with Jose Mourinho after working together at Manchester United
And according to Rangers legend and talkSPORT host Ally McCoist, he is keen for the ex-Inter Milan forward to bang in the goals.
Speaking on the talkSPORT Breakfast show, McCoist said: “I just hope it works out for the man, I’m just a bit concerned.
“He seems to be lost, seems to have lost his way. He’s a proper No.9 – Harry Kane mould – though he’s not as good for me.
“But you know their position, their job is to score goals, and I just think, again, another one that needs to get back playing again – get his career on track.”
