Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel has spoken once again on the Romelu Lukaku scandal – after his agent came out and claimed that talks were planned

Lukaku become the most deadly striker in Italian football and many fans were hoping that his arrival would bring goals, and along with that, more trophies to add to the cabinet.

However, that has not been the case and Lukaku has looked nothing like the man that dominated Serie A last season, and has even admitted that he simply cannot adapt to the style of play of Tuchel

And of course that has led to all sorts of speculation in the media that Chelsea would be very open to letting him leave the club and use the money to sign an adequate replacement.

Amid all the speculation – his agent Federico Pastorello insists the Belgian is fully committed to the club – but admits there has been “problems” since he big move move.

Now Tuchel has responded and has said regarding the rumours his agent wants a meeting with the hierarchy: “I think if he plans to talk with the owner, maybe it is not his plan to talk with me. It’s fair enough. Let’s see if he gets a meeting. It is his right. We will talk to anybody.

“We will evaluate any situation of any player, including Romelu. We will see what is going to happen and what the plans are.”

When asked about if he has concerns about the media noise regarding Lukaku ahead of such a big game, Tuchel responded: “I was only made aware of it five or ten minutes ago, actually. It’s what sometimes happens in football.

“The attention is so high that sometimes it attracts situations that you don’t want to have before big matches. It’s the way it is.

“For me, it is not a distraction and hopefully, for everybody that works on the team and the team itself, it is not.”

We would not be shocked to see him leave the club in the summer guys

Chelsea  have been given the chance to sign Robert Lewandowski in the transfer window.

It is no secret that both Chelsea and Man United will be looking to sign some big-time players in the transfer window to help close that gap on Man City and Liverpool in the Premier League

Liverpool are expected to add a couple of players to the side – while Man City have already completed a deal for goal-scoring machine Erling Haaland – who is already regarded as one of the best forwards in world football.

And that has led to reports that Chelsea have been left on hot alert for a possible deal for Lewandowski – who is out of contract at the end of next season – but has told Bayern that he wants out

And in the video below we have shown you guys just why both clubs should make a move and give the guy a call – watch and comment – will he come to the Premier League?

Chelsea loanee Saul Niguez is set to return to Atletico Madrid in the summer – the Blues board have been told this week.

Niguez was regarded as one of the finest players in Spanish football just a few seasons ago, and was being chased by all the biggest clubs in the game, but after falling down the pecking order at Madrid, he decided to leave the club on loan for the season.

And after a tricky start to life in the Premier League – Iy looked as though Saul was slowly becoming a more important member of Tuchel’s squad at the turn of the year but he has slipped down the pecking order again in recent months, making just one appearance since March 10.

That has led to many reports in the media which have suggested that he will not get handed that permanent move to the club, and many are wondering just what Tuchel will decide about his future at the club.

However, it seems that Niguez;s mind is made up as his brother Aaron and opened up and told the footballing world that the midfielder is keen to rejoin Atletico.

He told SER Deportivo: “In principle, as far as I know, yes, he has a loan. I have no other news. He has a contract with Atleti and I have no other news.

“If he wants to? Come on… He is Atletico and everything that isn’t Atletico sounds strange to him.

“I don’t think he’s ever left 100 per cent of Atletico Madrid. It’s my feeling and my opinion”
