£100 million Lewandowski opens up and has transfer message for Chelsea

Chelsea target Robert Lewandowski has admitted he could end his career at Bayern Munich.

The Poland international has been linked with a move to us over the last few months with speculation that he is now ready to test himself away from the Bundesliga, and reports even suggested that Bayern were ready to cash in on their star man in the coming windows, with the Germans ready to accept around £100 million.

It is no secret that Maurizio Sarri is desperate to add a world class striker to the front-line after becoming frustrated with the lack of goals from Alvaro Morata and Olivier Giroud, who have six Premier League goals between them this season.

But after scoring 22 goals in all competitions, Lewandowski appears to have had a change of heart and has now committed his long-term future to the club.

“There’s a very good chance I’ll be here for a long time yet,” he told Sport Bild.

“I’m not thinking about going anywhere else.

“Since putting the rumours to rest, my heart has been 100 per cent with Bayern.

“I fully identify with the club. I could definitely see myself ending my career at Bayern.”

Here is what we think.

Lewandowski is a world class striker and we would have done well to sign him in the coming transfer windows, but he is not the only target on the shopping list of Sarri and the Blues boss will not be too disappointed to see that Lewandowski has committed his future to the German Champions.

Big shame though, his goals would have helped in out quest of more glory.
