Lewandowski boost, Blues target told to score more goals, Announcement opens door for Chelsea
Lewandowski boost given, Haaland boost and Rice told to score in Chelsea roundup…
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano says Robert Lewandowski’s future is “open”, with Bayern Munich yet to open talks with the Chelsea target
Lewandowski is one of Europe’s elite goalscorers and has unsurprisingly attracted interest from some of the continent’s biggest clubs over the past few seasons as he continues scoring goals for fun
The 32-year-old striker netted 41 league goals in the 2020/21 season for Bayern to break Gerd Muller’s Bundesliga record, which had stood for 49 years, but there has been alot of speculation regarding the players future
Lewandowski’s Allianz Arena contract runs until 2023. And club chiefs are hopeful he will stay and finish his career at the club, despite the fact that talks have not been opened for the striker
It is no secret that we will be looking to add a striker to that attack in the summer, and despite his age, Lewandowski is a man that continues to score goals on a weekly basis.
Now, amid all the speculation, Romano has opened up and claimed that Lewandowski wants to sort out his future in the near future, meaning a contract extension or a summer exit from the German giants.

Lewandowski may be coming towards the back-end of his playing days, but he still a goal-scoring machine that is still valued at over £50 million, so if the club want to sign a striker that can bang in the goals for the next two years, Lewandowski is their man
So even though Bayern do not want to lose the player right now, the right offer from the club could get a transfer deal done, especially as the Poland star would be open to a fresh challenge in the Premier League.
Jan Fjortoft has opened up and told the likes of Chelsea that Erling Haaland will not be signing with Bayern Munich in the summer
Regarded as one of the best and most exciting young talents to emerge since Kylian Mbappe, Haaland has already developed into one of the most deadly strikers in world football.
His performances in the Champions League, his goals in the Bundesliga on a weekly basis, which stands at 23-goals in 20 goals in an injury plagued season, and that £64 million price tag has put all the big clubs on alert about a possible transfer deal.
But there has been some big rumours that the we may miss out on a transfer deal for the brilliant Haaland, as rumours surfaced that a possible move to Bayern Munich may mean that he stays in the Bundesliga.
Despite having the brilliant Robert Lewandowski up top, it has been speculated that Bayern may be open to the idea of replacing the Polish star with Haaland, especially as the great man is coming towards the back-end of his playing days
However, Fjortoft also discussed the possibility of Dortmund’s Bundesliga title rival Bayern Munich potentially making a swoop, and has claimed that the Champions do not want to make a move for the man, he told Bild: “I have always said that saying Bayern aren’t interested in Haaland is a joke.
“When Bayern see a player like him, it doesn’t matter who they already have, they’re interested.
“But they have a world class forward in Lewandowski. He’ll stay there anyway. It is a balancing act.
“I believe they’ll extend Lewandowski’s, Neuer’s, and Muller’s contracts. This will all happen very quickly once the conversations start.”
There is an uncertain future for Roman Abramovic, if you believe the media, but the Russian will not just leave the club and they will still do business in the summer, and Haaland is a man that would get fans very excited.
Graeme Souness has picked out one area Declan Rice must improve – but it shouldn’t worry Chelsea.
Over the past couple of seasons, Rice has developed into one of the very best stars of the Premier League and his performances has also led to reports that this could behis last season at the Hammers
However, it has been claimed 23-year-old Rice has put talks over his future at West Ham on hold until the summer, as The England star is said to be keen to assess his options come the end of the campaign.
West Ham are not willing to let Declan Rice leave on the cheap and have now stuck a massive £120 million price tag on the head of their star midfielder.
Rice’s current deal runs out in the summer of 2024, but the Londoners have the option to extend for a further year.
Key figures in the Blues boardroom have long-since been interested in the West Ham midfielder, and Here is what Souness had to say about him on punditry duties for Sky Sports;
‘I’d want more goals from him. In the modern game with the way the pitches are, for central midfield players coming on to things they’ve got no excuses.
‘The ball’s running smoothly, it’s coming to you on a carpet – and he’s scored one goal this year, Declan Rice.’
Look, if the Hammers get inside that top four spot and give Rice the Champions League football that he is looking for, then they will have no worries going into the summer transfer window
However, how could he turn down a move to a club that is playing at the very highest level every season? he couldnt
