£105 million star tells Chelsea ‘we will enter talks’ after World Cup

AC Milan star Rafael Leao has provided an update on his future amid transfer interest from Chelsea
The club spent some serious money in the summer transfer window and signed players that should be helping the club challenge for the Premier League and Champions League title.
But they have looked off at the start of the new season – they have not scored the goals or kept the clean-sheets that Graham Potter would have liked and that has led into rumours that money will be spent in January.
And Leao is one player that we have been constantly linked with over the past few months, having established himself in Italian football and becoming a real source of goals for AC Milan.
It is believed that the Italians do not want to sell the man but would be open to a deal should his massive £105 million asking price be met.
Now – Leao has now provided an update on those talks he has had with Milan – as he said: ‘I will speak to AC Milan [again] about my contract situation once the World Cup is over.
‘We had a positive meeting with [technical director] Paolo Maldini before the World Cup, it was a good one – we’ll enter into details after the break.’
AC Milan sporting director Frederic Massara warned the club and United last month: ‘We’re confident to reach an agreement with Rafael Leao and extend his contract.
‘We’ll try to find a solution to proceed with Rafa for long time.’
