CHELSEA FC and Paris Saint-Germain target Rafael Leao has opened up about his future with Serie A giants AC Milan.

Leao has been one of AC Milan’s most important players over the past four seasons, registering over 40 goals and over 30 assists across over 150 games for the club.

Leao’s current deal is up in the summer of 2024 and while talks are ongoing, a host of Premier League clubs are monitoring his situation in hope that he could become available.

We have been heavily linked for the last couple of transfer windows and many did expect them to sign Leao in the January window – but other targets were signed and they moved on from the man. But they will be back for the man at the end of the season.

However – it seems that they will have a battle on their hands to get a deal done as Leao has informed chasing clubs that he is happy at Milan and has no intention of leaving the club.

Speaking to CorSera, the Portuguese said, “My future is very clear and it’s here at AC Milan. I’m under contract for the next four years, AC Milan helped me in difficult moments and I won’t forget that.

‘I want to win again at Milan, my focus is here.”

There is something there in the potential of Leao – he really is a special talent and could be a great long-term investment – but not for that £100 million that is being talked about.

But it is a shame that he does not want to leave Milan
