Lamps told to sign Oblak, Chelsea locked in Chilwell talks and Sancho transfer rumours addressed in Icchelseanews.com daily news roundup…

Borussia Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc said the Bundesliga club would be happy for Jadon Sancho to stay as Chelsea are keen on a deal.

There has been so much transfer speculation in the media about the future of Sancho that  fans do not know what to believe, and whether or not their club will actually make a transfer move.

With 17 goals and 17 assists in the Bundesliga this season, Sancho is already considered to be one of the finest talents in European football, and that is why we have been so keen to try and wrap up a deal.

Nobody knows if he will actually make it back to the Premier League this summer, but The Borussia Dortmund star has been questioned over the speculation surrounding his future, and he has failed to rule out a possible move to the Premier League

Now Zorc has addressed the rumours regarding Sancho on Thursday, saying: “Jadon is an outstanding footballer with a quota that I have never seen at this age.

“I think it would even stand up to being one of the largest in the industry if you look at its age.

“I would be happy if he would still play with us this season. And that’s the current state of affairs.

“First of all we have to stick to the facts – and they are so, that we still have a contract with him until 2022.”

Chelsea remain locked in talks over a swoop for Leicester City ace Ben Chilwell, according to Fabrizio Romano

Chilwell has had another stellar season over at Leicester this season and has firmly become one of the best left-backs in Europe, which has led to reports in the media suggesting that we are keen on a deal.

Brendan Rodgers has previously stated that the Foxes have no intention on cashing in on their star left-back this summer, and have no need too over the next ten weeks of the summer transfer window.

However, our  hopes of signing him will be handed a further boost this week after Leicester failed to qualify for that Champions League place and now Fabrizio Romano has given the fans an update on the possible deal.

When asked by a Twitter follower for the latest news about Chilwell, Romano replied: “Still in talks as Chelsea first choice. Still no agreement.”

There is so much speculation surrounding a possible  deal, but the Blues fans will soon get their answer as the transfer window is now open and all the deals that could happen, may happen for the club.

Dimitar Berbatov believes Kai Havertz will be an ‘amazing’ signing for Chelsea but thinks the Blues should make a move for Jan Oblak.

Frank Lampard has already been a busy man in the transfer window open the past few months and look set to make another top-class signing, with Havertz the latest player that is seemingly heading to the club this summer.

Reports have claimed that we are locked in transfer talks over a deal for the German, and just need to negotiate a fee with Bayer Leverkusen before the deal can officially be announced.

But there is another area of the pitch that Frank Lampard needs to improve on and that is the stopper area, as reports suggested that he is not happy with Kepa and will look to add an elite goalkeeper to the squad this summer.

And although Berbatov has claimed that Havertz will be an amazing signing, he thinks Jan Oblak would be the ideal signing to solve their issues between the sticks ahead of next season.

‘They for sure need a goalkeeper and Jan Oblak would be a great option,’ Berbatov told Betfair.

‘Timo Werner was a good deal, and Willian looks like he might stay if they win the FA Cup.

‘There are still rumours about Kai Havertz who would be an amazing player for them.’

Look, Oblak is one of the very best stoppers in the game right now and we will be very luck to nail down his services, especially as he will cost £110 million to acquire from Madrid.
