Chelsea announce Barkley deal, Lamps drops Loftus-Cheek hint, Chelsea and PSG in Bakayoko talks and Barkley opens up in icchelseanews roundup…

Chelsea manager Frank Lampard has admitted that Ruben Loftus-Cheek could head out on-loan this transfer window.

With all the signings that we have made this summer window, it has meant that the talents at the club, like Loftus-Cheek, will struggle for game time over the course of the season, which will hinder the development.

That has led to speculation in the media that the likes of Aston Villa and Southampton are both been linked with a loan move for the midfielder, on order to give him the game time that he is seeking over the next 12 months.

And although Lampard maintains Loftus-Cheek is held in the highest regard, he finds himself in a difficult position in terms of current opportunities and may have to be sent out on-loan this window.

“I am very open with Ruben. We have had a couple of conversations in the last week. He is fit as a fiddle so he could play week in, week out, but he needs to play,” said Lampard on the club website

“He has done a lot of work now and would have been playing a lot of games earlier if it wasn’t for lockdown and Project Restart.

“There is a possibility Ruben might go out (on loan) to play games because I think that would be great for him.”

Dean Smith has admitted his delighted after Aston Villa managed to sign Ross Barkley from Chelsea.

There is no doubt that we will not look to offload a few players over the course of the next few days after spending over £200 million on players that should help the side challenge for trophies once again.

And despite being a big bit-part player over the last few seasons, Barkley has fallen down the pecking order, with Mason Mount and Mateo Kovacic now ahead of him in Frank Lampard’s plans, and he has been allowed to depart on loan.

And after a few days of talks, we announced that Barkley would be making the loan move to Villa until the end of the season, with an option for the Premier League side to potential buy the England midfielder.

After seeing the deal get done, Villa boss Smith has opened up and revealed his delight that a deal for Barkley was done, Smith told the club’s official website: “Capturing a player of Ross’s quality is a real coup for our club and I am certain he will thrive here and improve our team.”

Ross Barkley has announced his delight after sealing a loan deal to Aston Villa from Chelsea this summer.

Despite having great ability and quality, Barkley has failed to establish himself as one of the very best players in the Premier League, and has not shown the potential that he once produced on a weekly basis for Everton.

But after his move, Barkley is hoping he can produce the performances that will make him a hit for club and country, he told the Villa club website: “The last couple of years I’ve been stop-start, performing well and then being out of the team.

“To come here and have the chance to play and perform regularly is a big thing for me. With the Euros at the end of the season, it’s a big target for me and hopefully I can be there.

“Dean Smith swayed me with the way he spoke to me, and it looks like it’s going to be an exciting season.”

Barkley also revealed Villa Captain Jack Grealish had a role in persuading him that Villa Park was the right place for him.

“We’re mates off the field and we know each other well,” he said.

“We’ve spoken previously and I’m looking forward to playing with him.

“I’ve spoken to him over the past couple of weeks and he’s been telling me about how good the club is and how welcomed I’d be when I came here.”

Chelsea midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko is in talks with Paris Saint-Germain over a loan move.

There is no doubt that the club will not look to offload a few players over the course of the next few days after spending over £200 million on players that should help the side challenge for trophies once again.

And Bakayoko is a man that is no longer needed, but with no clubs ready to pay that £30 million asking price that the club have placed on the midfielders, head, it seems that he is all set for a loan move to PSG.

Reports on the TalkSport website have claimed that the club and PSG have now opened talks about a possible loan deal ahead of the October 5th deadline, with hopes that a deal can get done over the weekend.

Thomas Tuchel, the PSG head coach, has approved the pursuit of both Bakayoko and another player that is seemingly done at the club Antonio Rudiger, who is also on the radar of Tottenham, Roma and Barcelona.

“These players belong to other clubs and we have to respect that,” Tuchel was quoted on GOAL. “There is no point in talking about these two names. I can only say that the club knows my opinion.

“I am waiting. The transfer window is not over. The situation is not easy, but we still have a little bit of time.”
