Lampard has made up his Chelsea mind and midfielder Jorginho will be leaving?

Jamie Carragher believes Frank Lampard has ‘made his mind up’ and decided to sell Chelsea midfielder Jorginho this summer

Despite being an invaluable member of the side before the coronavirus stopped football from being played, There has been big transfer speculation in the media that Jorginho could leave the club when the transfer window opens up.

He has barely featured for us since the re-start of football, and does not look like a player that Lampard wants to keep hold of this coming season to help take this Chelsea side forward.

And Carragher has opened up and claimed that Frank Lampard has made up his mind to sell the midfielder in the summer window: ‘To take Chelsea to the next level, Frank needs to find the right formula with so many attacking personnel,’ Carragher told TelegraphSport

‘To do so, he may have to compromise some idealistic principles rather than pack his team with so many forward-thinking players.

‘His demeanour following a recent loss at Sheffield United told me he has already made some big decisions and is waiting for the right time at the end of the season to tell some high-profile names they are not in his plans.

‘I learned a lot today – I learned a lot that I won’t forget,” he said, that day. It sounded ominous.

‘He must have his mind made up about many of those he inherited from Sarri. I can see Jorginho rejoining Sarri at Juventus.

‘Jorginho’s recent omission for youngster Billy Gilmour was a nod to the future.’

Lets see if Carragher is right when the transfer window opens up, it will be a shame if he does leave the club though.
