Lamps addreses Hudson-odoi rumours, Barkley exit gives Chelsea Rice boost, Duo to leave and Jorginho to stay in icchelseanews roundup…

Frank Lampard has shut down the transfer rumours linking Callum Hudson-Odoi with a move away from the club this summer.

We have done some wonderful transfer business this summer window, but their arrivals has meant that a number of talented players may have to seek a move away in order to get the game time that they need.

And The highly-rated England international, 19, has fallen down the pecking order for the 2020/21 campaign with all the transfer signings that have been been signed by Lampard and that has led to speculation in the media that he is now seeking a move away from the club.

That has led to speculation that the likes of Bayern Munich and Manchester United have both made an approach to the club about a possible deal for the young man, but after a couple of impressive performances, Lampard insisted he has no interest in selling the England international to Manchester United or any interested parties.

“We are not inundated with wingers,” he was quoted on the Daily Express.

“We lost Pedro and Willian in the summer and we need competition and players because of the stress of the competitions we have to play in.

“I certainly hope Callum has a big part to play this season. If Callum comes on and makes an impact like he did against West Brom, if he keeps improving and developing every day, he is a huge talent – so let’s see.”

Jorginho’s agent, Joao Santos, has dismissed rumours linking the Chelsea midfielder with a move and has claimed he is ‘happy’ at Stamford Bridge.

There has been alot of speculation in the media over the past few days which have claimed that we may be open to the idea of letting Jorginho leave the club this transfer window after spending over £200 million on new signings.

That has led to speculation in the media that the likes of Arsenal, Roma and PSG have shown an interest in trying to get a possible deal done, but as soon as the rumours emerged, those rumours have been shut down by the player’s agent.

‘Jorginho still has a three-year contract with Chelsea, this plus two,’ Santos told 90Min Italy. ‘I feel a lot of talk about Arsenal and PSG in the last few days, but the reality is that up to now, no official offer has arrived for the player.

‘The transfer market closes on 5 October, but the more time passes the more difficult it becomes to make such an important operation. So at the moment, I can say that it is just rumours.

‘He is happy at Chelsea.

‘With Roma, there was absolutely nothing, Santos added.

‘Hard to see him in Serie A because he has an important salary and a cost that only two or three clubs can afford

‘Given the situation and the type of market we are experiencing, it is difficult to think of an operation of this type with so little time available.’

West Ham risk losing Declan Rice in the final days of the transfer window now that Chelsea have let Ross Barkley leave on-loan for the season.

After a massive summer of spending, the club made the shock decision to let Barkley leave on-loan for the next 12 months as he seeks to get the game time he needs to get back into the England set-up.

But his departure, has led to reports that we are trying to free up a bit more space, and wage budget, so they can go out and complete that transfer deal that will bring Declan Rice to the club.

The Hammers are reportedly demanding more than £80million for one of their most prized assets, but the club have not shied away from splashing the cash this summer and Roman Abramovich has openly backed Lampard in the transfer market.

Now former West Ham ace Trevor Sinclair believes that his wage packet is no longer a problem for the club as Barkley has been removed from the books.

“One of the biggest problems for football clubs is week to week wages,” said Sinclair on Wednesday’s White and Sawyer

“So getting Ross Barkley off the wages to bring in Declan Rice makes sense, unfortunately.”

Chelsea are ready to offer both Antonio Rudiger and Ruben Loftus-Cheek to West Ham in order to land Declan Rice, according to the Transfer Window podcast.

It is no secret that we are now looking to offload a number of players before the end of the transfer window in order to make some more transfer funds available, with Rudiger and Loftus-Cheek on the chopping board.

And with the latest reports suggesting that  owner Roman Abramovic will sanction the signing of Declan Rice, the transfer podcast have now claimed that the club will allow both Rudiger and Loftus-Cheek to leave, with Tottenham a club linked with the pair

Ian McGarry said on Sky Sports: “It’s our information that Antonio Rudiger, who has been the main casualty of the early season in terms of losing his place, has been offered to West Ham United as part of the deal to bring Rice to Stamford Bridge.

“Rudiger, the Germany international, is available [elsewhere] on loan.

“Chelsea are okay about selling him permanently, however Rudiger himself is thought to be a little bit indecisive about moving across London. He would prefer instead to stay for a year and prove himself.

“There’s another player involved in this proposal to West Ham, and that’s the England international midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek.

“He’s in a similar situation to Rudiger in that he’s not in Lampard’s plans, and he would prefer to be playing football in a 12 month period which will culminate in Euro 2020.”

Loftus-Cheek and Rudiger are two very good Premier League players, so it will be interesting to see just where the players end up as there are a few clubs interested in getting deals done.

And Rice would be more than welcome right?
