Lamps opens up and hails the brilliant Mason Mount and sends exiting Chelsea message
Frank Lampard has opened up and hailed ‘brilliant’ England and Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount.
Mount has enjoyed a breakthrough campaign this season after being given an opportunity to shine by boss Frank Lampard, as the club legend was not able to sign any players in last summers transfer window.
He has featured in over 50 games this season for us this season and helped the club claim a Champions League spot and reach the FA Cup final, where we are clear favourites to regain the cup.
Now the Stamford Bridge boss insisted Mount will just keep getting better over the coming season, he told the official website website: “He will definitely get better because he is so young,”
“When a player comes in and plays in their breakthrough year and is consistently in the team people sometimes treat them as though they are older than they are. But he is still young.
“You saw his technique from the free-kick. His is a special technique, and only top players can strike the ball that way.
“His all-round game for the season has been brilliant. His work ethic and training daily is brilliant. He has already contributed a great amount, but he will also get a lot better.
“This is just the start for Mason at Chelsea.”
It is just the start for Mount and if he continues to develop at the pace that he has been, he could be the future of the club. The lad is simply brilliant and will become a world class players over the next few seaons.
