£87M attacker sends transfer message to chasing Chelsea

Khvicha Kvaratskhelia has given an update on his future, with the likes of CHELSEA reportedly chasing the attacker this summer transfer window.

The Summer window is now open and there is alot of speculation in the media about who that board will look to try and bring in to help get the club challenging for trophies and Champions League football once again.

We had a shocking season under Mauricio Pochettino and are lacking some top-level players in key areas of the pitch that will help them get back into the chase for a top four spot, which led to reports that Kvaratskhelia is wanted.

It’s claimed that Napoli will demand in excess of €100million (£87million) for Kvaratskhelia, though they are hoping to fend off interest with a new and improved contract once the European Championships are over for one of the clubs star players.

But the 23-year-old is keen to keep his focus on the Euros for the time being after his Georgia side lost 3-1 to Turkey today. Speaking to Sky after the game, he said: “I’m only focused on the Euros, then after I will decide about my future”.

“I’m not even thinking about that now, full focus on Georgia. I don’t want to take into consideration all things being said around it.”

Both the Georgian’s agent and father are reportedly looking for the attacker to make the move to a Champions League club after Napoli endured a dismal season.
