Father reveals next move for Chelsea linked star
CHELSEA have been handed an early blow in their potential transfer pursuit of Napoli star Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.
The January window is just around the corner and there is alot of speculation in the media about who that board will look to try and bring in to help get their season back on track.
We have not had the best of starts under Mauricio Pochettino and are lacking some top-level players in key areas of the pitch that will help them get back into the chase for a top four spot, which led to reports that Kvaratskhelia is wanted.
It’s claimed that Napoli will demand in excess of €100million (£87million) for Kvaratskhelia, though they are hoping to fend off interest with a new and improved contract.
However, comments made by his father, Badri Kvaratskhelia, hint at where his next move could see him.
Speaking after Napoli’s 4-2 Champions League loss to Real Madrid on Wednesday. “For Khvicha, playing against Real Madrid was special,” he told Georgian outlet Geo Team.
“He has always dreamed and I am convinced that he still dreams of playing for Real Madrid. In my family, everyone is a fan of Los Blancos – except for me. For this reason it was a very special match.”

Kvaratskhelia is one hell of a player and a man that fans would love to see arrive at the club, but a striker is more important right now.
So even though i would love him here, he will probably not end up at Stamford Bridge
