Mbappe to be sold? Hazard ‘the legend’, Kovacic opens up on Eden in good morning Chelsea

Here is a daily roundup of the latest Chelsea news, gossip and transfer speculation from IcChelseanews, as rumours once again take all the headlines.

PSG may have to sell Chelsea target Kylian Mbappe before the end of next season, if Financial Fair Play sanctions come down on them.

We are looking to spend big money in the January transfer window to try and get their Premier League title run back on track, with the lads losing ground on Liverpool and Spurs over the past few weeks with some very dodgy performances.

Boss Maurizio Sarri is still looking to bolster his attack, and with rumours Eden Hazard has already decided to pack his bags and Willian linked with a move to Barcelona, another attacker is needed by the Italian.

If Hazard does go, we will need someone that is already a ‘superstar’ that can add goals and assists to the side on a regular basis, and Mbappe is certainly a player of that calibre.

The nineteen year old is the most exciting youngster in the game and is tipped to become the worlds best player, especially since he helped France win the world Cup in dominant fashion over last summer.

And the Mediapart website has claimed Sanctions may mean that PSG would have to find €170m before the end of next season, the bulk of which could be brought in by the potential sale of Mbappe.

Real Madrid target Eden Hazard said he wants to become a “Chelsea legend” after passing 100 goals for the club.

Hazard once again stole the show in his new role in the 2-1 win over Watford, as he netted in either half to give the lads some much needed points, and push them back into the top four.

However, his performances for us over the past few weeks has done nothing to dampen the speculation on his future, with many reports all suggesting that he wants to leave and fulfil his dream of playing for Madrid.

But he has give Maurizio Sarri and the hierarchy a glimmer of hope by announcing that he wants to be a legend after netting his 100th and 101st goals for the club.

He told Sky Sports: “It means a lot, especially because we also won.

“Scoring 101 goals with this amazing club is something I will never forget, but now I think the fans, the staff, myself, the players, we want more.

“I want to score more for this club and then try to be a legend like [Frank] Lampard, [John]Terry, [Didier] Drgba, I try to do my best. But when we are winning we can enjoy a lot.”

Mateo Kovacic has admitted Chelsea team-mate Eden Hazard has asked about Real Madrid.

Madrid have been reportedly linked with Hazard, with some reports even suggesting that his mind is made up and he will be signing for the La Liga giants at the end of the season.

The little Belgian superstar, who recently netted his 100th and 101st goals for the club in the 2-1 win over Watford, has dreams to be the worlds best player and to win the Champions, something he believes can only be achieved at the Spanish giants.

Now Kovacic, who has recently admitted that he would like to stay beyond this season, has revealed that Hazard has asked him what it is like at Madrid.

“For me, he is an incredible player,” said Kovacic on the Sky Sports website.

“I did not know he was that good and he can easily be one of the two or three best players in the world.

“He asked me how it was there (at Real) but we are looking forward to having a great season together, to be fully concentrated on Chelsea.

“He is focused a lot on doing great things with Chelsea.”
