£51.4 M Frenchman ‘keen to join Chelsea’ after star agrees move

Chelsea are still Sevilla star Jules Kounde’s top choice ahead of the summer transfer window it has been claimed

Chelsea have been in the headlines alot over the past few weeks – most noticeably for the fact that one of the clubs very best players will be leaving the club at the end of the season.

We are of course talking about Antonio Rudiger – who has been one of the clubs best performers this season but has agreed a mammoth four-year deal with Spanish giants Real Madrid.

The club were on the brink of signing Kounde last summer but the move collapsed at the final hurdle, but with Rudiger now on his way out of the club, we have once again been linked with a transfer move

And the defender is still keen on a move to Stamford Bridge despite interest from a slew of other clubs, according to Football Talk- as the report states that the West Londoners are the ‘main suitors’ for the France international.

However, he won’t come cheap as Sevilla are demanding £51.4m for the centre-back and Chelsea still need to complete Todd Boehly’s takeover

We do not yet know how much money Tuchel will be handed in the transfer window to replace the players that he will be losing – but if he gets the cash to sign Kounde – it would be a very good move for the club to make

He is already brilliant and under the right manager – he could develop into one of the best defenders in world football and that £51 million asking price will look like a bargain in a few seasons
