Maurizio Sarri has defiant message for Chelsea fans as £130m target Kouliably eyes Napoli exit

Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri has told fans that he will not change his philosophy here at Stamford Bridge.

Sarri arrived at Stamford Bridge as one of the most attack minded managers in world football and was the top pick for owner Roman Abramovic, but despite a relatively good start to life as boss the Italians style of play has been heavily criticised.

Supporters voiced their disapproval during our controversial win at Cardiff on Sunday, just as they did during the FA Cup defeat to Manchester United, But Sarri continues to have faith in his approach and has claimed that he will not change the way he likes to play the game.

The Chelsea head coach said on the Sky Sports website: “At the moment we are not playing very well. We need to improve in playing our way of football.

“We are trying to do this but it’s not easy, especially in the first season because we started to work only in the middle of July. At the beginning of August we played the first official match. Then we worked for a couple of weeks and then started to play every three days.

“It is not easy for me to play my football.

“Will I change my philosophy? No, because I need to believe in what I do. Otherwise it is impossible to pass my ideas to the players.”

Meanwhile, Kalidou Koulibaly has hired his brother as his agent as he seeks for a big-money move away from Napoli this summer, reports have emerged and claimed.

Regarded as one of the finest defenders in world football right now, Koulibaly has been making all the right headlines over the past 12 months as his stock in the game continues to rise after every impressive performance he puts in for Napoli.

But despite the fact we cannot buy players, there is still a chance that the transfer ban could be overturned before the transfer window and Sarri has been boosted by reports on the Independent website which say Koulibaly parted ways with his agent, Bruno Satin, late last year and hired his brother in order to force a big money move away from Napoli.

Pressure from the defender’s family, who want a bigger piece of the finances surrounding any transfer, is said to be the reason for the break, despite the fact that Napoli have indicated that they have no desire to part company.
