Powerhouse addresses transfer rumours after Chelsea make contact over possible deal
Chelsea transfer target Kalidou Koulibaly has opened up on his Napoli future amid speculation that there will be some offers in the transfer window
It is no secret that Thomas Tuchel could be losing a whole host of defenders at the end of the season as a number of stars are out of contract, meaning that the German will need to bring in a few more players
Antonio Rudiger is the man that the club will need to replace when he departs the club at the end of the season after he failed to agree a new contract at the Bridge – despite months of talks
And Koulibaly is a name that many fans are familiar with, as the club have been linked with a move for the powerhouse for the last few seasons and are still interested in getting a deal done
And the latest suggestion is that we have made contact with his Serie A club about a possible £50 million deal.
Now – amid all the speculation – Koulibaly has opened up and addresses all the speculation that he could finally be leaving the Italian giants at the end of the current season.
Koulibaly told Onze Mondial: “I would not cause an argument to leave the club. If I ever did leave Napoli, I would do it on my terms.
“There would be no argument and I would speak to the president. He tries to listen to the fans who don’t want me go and every time has asked for a fee that was too high.”

Koulibaly is a man that is made for the Premier League and this may be his chance to prove himself in the English game – so if the reports are true – he could be a great partner for Thiago Silva
