German Chance for Chelsea – Blues very likely to get winger deal done – Chelsea can sign striker for £43M

Here is a roundup of the top Chelsea news and gossip that we think you guys may have missed –
Bayern Munich star and long-term CHELSEA FC target Joshua Kimmich is ‘open’ to talks with potential buyers from the Premier League in the race to sign him, according to reports.
It is believed that ‘some’ of those five clubs have already made contact with Kimmich over a possible move, and if you believe the reports coming out of German – the International star is open to a move to the Premier League
Kimmich has made 378 appearances for Bayern Munich to date, producing 102 assists and 41 goals and is easily regarded as one of the best midfielders in the world right now.
Reporter Iomie Stanley: CHELSEA FC have been doing some dodgy business over the past couple of transfer windows -but if they are able to get a deal done for this man – he would be a great signing.
‘He is proven at the highest level of the game – is a proven winner – can play in numerous positions and is a leader on the pitch – he could be a real bargain for the club that is for sure.
‘So if the reports are true and he is open to the idea of moving to the Premier League – then Chelsea have the financial power to get him to their side of London – if they want to add an experienced player to the squad that is.’
STERLING TO BE SOLD –
CHELSEA FC are likely to sell 29-year-old England international Raheem Sterling in the summer, according to the latest reports
Sterling firmly established himself as one of the best wingers in the Premier League with Manchester City – where he banged in plenty of goals and won countles trophies.
But after he opted to leave the Premier League Champions – the club made sure that they were the club that got a transfer deal done for the attacker – and many fans were excited about his arrival.
However – he has not been that impressive so far during his stay at Stamford Bridge – and there has been some reports that he is one player that could be sold in a summer clear-out.
To balance the profit and sustainability standards of the Premier League, the Blues will have to offload some of their players which means Sterling could be on his way out of Stamford Bridge.
Reporter Iomie Stanley told icfootballnews: ‘Sterling had to play at such a high level under Pep Guardiola at Man City that his best days may be behind him – he may not be the same man that was scoring 20 goals a season.
‘It is great that he wants to stay and fight for his place – but the bench may be part of his immediate future. He is not the player he once was and may honestly be useless again next season.
‘So if the right offer in the summer arrives – we are sure that that the board will look to offload the winger and bring in somebody that is a little more hungry to succeed and be the best he can be.’
SESKO PRICE SET –
CHELSEA FC, who are eyeing a move for RB Leipzig’s star forward Benjamin Sesko in the summer, have learned about the fee that they would have to pay to sign him.
The club spent heavily in the summer transfer window, breaking their own transfer record to sign a number of players that they feel will help drive the club into a new era of winning trophies.
However – despite the good form of Cole Palmer and Nicolas Jackson, there are many out there that believe the club are still lacking a striker to score the goals on a regular basis, with the likes of Ivan Toney linked.
We are favourites to land Toney as they look to add a notable striker to Mauricio Pochettino’s squad, and the 27-year-old is believed to be open to leaving Brentford at the end of the season.
But his £100 million asking price may put alot of clubs offf in the summer window because of the financial fair play rules – meaning that the likes of Chelsea may have to switch attentions to the likes of Sesko.
According to GiveMeSport, Sesko has a release clause of £43m in his existing contract, an amount that we would be willing to shell out.
He is regarded as one of the finest young strikers in the game – and fits the type of player that the board are looking to sign in the future
