La Liga star confirms and tells Chelsea he wants long-term deal wrapped up!

On-loan CHELSEA star Kepa has revealed that he would like to stay at Real Madrid on a permanent basis.

Kepa has made nine appearances for Los Blancos so far, keeping five clean sheets and conceding just seven goals to help his side go top of the La Liga table.

But come next summer, he’ll have just one year left on his contract meaning Real could secure his services for a cut-price fee if the club decide that they no longer wanted to keep him at the club, which is very much a likely option.

Now – the Spanish star has come out and revealed that he would like to stay at Madrid on a permanent deal, telling Spanish TV, as quoted by Fabrizio Romano: Of course I’d love to stay at Real Madrid in the future.

‘Who doesn’t want to stay at this club? I’m very, very happy here.’

Kepa has also spoken about the decision to leave Stamford Bridge in the summer: ‘The loan to Madrid was very quick,’ Kepa told AS. ‘Everything was sealed in a few hours, with just two phone calls.

‘I had spent five seasons at a big club, CHELSEA, and I thought a change could be good for me. It’s true that there was the option of Bayern… but Real Madrid called and I didn’t have to think about it.

‘If there were other opportunities before it didn’t matter, what matters is that it became a reality last summer.’

It was one of the shocks of the transfer window to hear that Kepa was heading to Madrid after failing to establish himself in this side, but he is a very happy man right now and the club should allow him to leave permanently.
