Brilliant World class Frenchman Kante tells Chelsea that he wants to be at the club this coming transfer window
Real Madrid and PSG transfer target N’Golo Kante wants to stay at Chelsea during the summer transfer window.
Kante is easily regarded as the best holding midfielder in the game right now and is a main reason why we were so defensively sound before ex-boss Maurizio Sarri came in and decided to play the Frenchman in a more forward thinking attack.
But there was some speculation during the summer transfer window which suggested that French giants PSG were keen to try and take Kante back to his homeland, especially after he reportedly became unsettled under life with Sarri, but that does not seem to be the case under Frank Lampard.
He has been played in his more usual role just in front of the back-line this season and is starting to look like the world class midfielder that he developed into when he arrived at Stamford Bridge.
Despite all the transfer speculation surrounding his future at the club, and despite the fact that his contract is out of contract in 2023, according to Goal, the France international will only consider a departure if we say they wish to sell him.
Kante is happy and settled despite his struggles this season and does not want to leave the club at this stage of his career, especially considering he would have to switch countries to get the move the club wants.
He is a world class player that needs to stay and it will be a massive shame to us, and the Premier League, if he actually decides to leave, Chelsea decide to sell and if PSG or Madrid actualy come calling.
