Chelsea midfielder Jorginho “could follow” Maurizio Sarri to his next club, according to his agent.

Jorginho was signed by Sarri just a few years ago to be the man that helps control the game , and since his move to Stamford Bridge he has become a firm fans favourite and a real top-class players for the club.

However, since his move to the club, there has been constant speculation in the media that he will be sold, that he is not a valuable member of the side and is one player that Frank Lampard would not miss if he opted to leave.

No the 28-year-old’s main legal representative, Joao Santos, says that although his client is content in his current surroundings, the midfielder is keeping a close eye on Sarri’s next move with a view to potentially linking up with his old mentor again.

“He’s very happy with Frank Lampard and Chelsea can do even better than last season,” Santos told Calcio Mercato

“Almost all the Italy players are in Serie A, as it’s an important league, but his journey took him to London. If Maurizio Sarri had remained, perhaps he’d have joined Juventus.

“Jorginho has a personal and professional bond with the coach that is very strong. We’re waiting to see where Sarri goes, and if it’s a big club in Italy, Jorginho could follow him.”

Jorginho is a decent player that does the job that Lampard needs of him right now, but he is one player that would not be missed if he was not in the side, he does not do anything amazing in games that will help
