Thank you Jorginho’s mum! Chelsea star opens up and makes big revelation

Jorginho has admitted that his mum made him join Chelsea In the summer transfer window.

Jorginho arrived at the club shortly after the appointment of Maurizio Sarri in a deal worth around £53 million after he rejected the opportunity to link-up with Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola, and so far Jorginho has been the maestro behind our great start to the new season as he has contributed in a number of assists over the first few weeks of the season.

Now the midfielder, who has made a very impressive start to life as a Blue, has admitted that his mum helped him decide to make the move to Stamford Bridge.

He said on the Sky Sports website: “A lot of things happen and then, of course, it comes down to preferences. I’m really happy with my choice to be here at Chelsea…what’s happened has happened and I’m happy to be there now.

“My mum was a big influence in me coming here. Every decision, I speak to my mum and this one was the same. My mum has always been by my side for every decision I take.”

Did Jorginho make the right decision?

Jorginho has adapted to life in the Premier League with ease this season and it was definitely the right decision for him to reject City and make the move to us instead, he  has turned out to be a world class buy for the Blues.

So we must thank his mum for having an influence on whom he would join during the summer transfer window.
