Chelsea board told in-demand powerhouse ‘perfect fit’

Reporter Iomie Stanley believes that Brentford striker Ivan Toney would be the perfect fit for CHELSEA.

There was alot of speculation in the January window that Ivan Toney was a player that Mauricio Pochettino wanted to be signed for the club

However – despite all the speculation and all the rumours – the Financial Fair Plays rules keeping all the Premier League clubs on their toes – there was not too much business this January transfer window, which frustrated alot of fans.

Toney is a player that has been linked with a move away from Brentford all season – despite the fact that he has only just returned from time away from the game – but it seems that there will be a chance to get a deal done in the summer after Brentford reportedly decided they will cash in on the big man.

And amid all the speculation – Stanley has claimed that he could be a perfect addition to that side.

He said: “You know he’s going to score on a regular, he lives for the headlines. He’s got an unerring confidence and unwavering confidence that most footballers have, but his is more like steely determination mixed with arrogance.

‘ He’ll only get bigger, better and stronger in the coming seasons now that he is back to playing football and making an impact for Brentford

I keep saying it, I’ve said it before, but I think CHELSEA is the perfect landing spot for him. I really do.

‘They are in in dire need of adding a striker to that attack like Ivan Toney – they are missing that game-winning striker that can score goals on a weekly basis.

‘Toney suits the style of Chelsea – and if he moves there – he will score goals.’
