Incoming Chelsea signing admits he is excited about Blues move

Aaron Anselmino has admitted that he is very excited after being told that he is coming to CHELSEA this month, and has admitted that he is very happy for this new opportunity.
Anselmino was being touted as a potential superstar after his maiden season as a senior professional at Boca Juniors. His performance in the 2023-24 campaign grabbed the attention of Chelsea recruiters, who wasted no time in sealing a transfer for the young defender for just £17 million ($22m) in the summer.
The player, who has committed to move to Stamford Bridge on a seven-year deal, immediately returned to the Argentine club on loan at least until January 2025, and has continued to impress over in his homeland
Anselmino certainly wasn’t expecting the call, admitting that he hadn’t seen it coming when he spoke to ESPN in the airport.
“I always felt the love of the fans with me. This year I had to get injured often (four times). God willing that I come back one day. It’s my home and it’s a crazy thing that can’t be seen anywhere,” he said.
“Everything happened to me quickly, very suddenly. I was in the National Team and I didn’t know if I had to travel or stay. They told me that they wanted to have me in their ranks.
“I spoke with Román (Riquelme-Boca president) on the day of the sale. He called me on the phone and congratulated me. He is a person that I respect and admire a lot,
“(I’m) happy for this new opportunity. It is something dreamed of for anyone. I am very excited.”
