Imminent Chelsea deal to bring world class star worth £85M to Stamford Bridge?
CHELSEA will use the funds from the sale of Noni Maduake to Arsenal to lure Rodrygo from Real Madrid over the next couple of weeks.
Maduake had his breakout season at Chelsea last campaign and put in some good performances, with those displays leading to England calling him up, where he also impressed in that National shirt.
However – he is one player that the club have been keen to sell this summer after their summer spending spree, and now an agreement has now been struck, Fabrizio Romano reports, with Chelsea accepting Arsenal’s offer which is in excess of £50million with add-ons included.
And according to reports on the Daily Express, the club will use the money that they get from the sale of Maduake in order to complete a transfer move for Rodrygo, who has been tipped to leave Madrid this summer.
According to a recent report from AS Madrid could be willing to part ways with the Brazilian forward if a substantial offer arrives. The ultimate decision, however, will rest with both Rodrygo and new head coach Xabi Alonso, who is reportedly scheduled to speak directly with the player soon.
However, It was claimed Real will be demanding a fee of €100million (£85m) for the player, and he will also look for wages around the £300k-a-week mark.
IcChelseanews says…
CHELSEA do not really need to splash the cash and add another winger to that attack, they already have a number of players that can do the job that Rodrygo does and we are sure that a move to the London clubs will not happen.
