Coutinho-Zaha replace Hazard?, Ten Hag Chelsea message, target leaving Juventus, Blues told £100m superstar leaving Seria A
Chelsea have lined up Philippe Coutinho and Wilfred Zaha as players who could replace Eden Hazard this summer claims BBC Sport’s David Ornstein claims.
It is no secret that Hazard is all set to pack his bags and leave for the dizzy heights of La Liga after months of speculation and frustration for the Fans, who have become sick of the rumours suggesting the man who netted an impressive 26-goals.
Zaha has become one of the most dangerous wingers in the Premier League after reinventing his career and his performances over the past two seasons have impressed a number of Premier League clubs, and Coutinho is also a player that has become in-demand this summer after it was reported in the Spanish press that he could be sold by Barcelona.
Ornstein told BBC Radio 5 Live: “The Hazard question could be contingent to the transfer ban because despite reports to the contrary, his mooted move to Real Madrid is not done.
“[Chelsea director] Marina Granovskaia is putting up a fight on that one.
“If he is sold and the transfer ban is delayed, then I’ve been told they’ve got an interest in Philippe Coutinho.
“His agent is Kia Joorabchian who Chelsea have done a number of deals with in the past.
“There’s possibly also interest in Wilfried Zaha as a replacement for Hazard.
“Zaha, I’m told, if the price is right could well leave Palace this summer despite many Palace fans knowing that’s a bit of a doomsday scenario.”
Meanwhile, Ajax head coach Erik ten Hag has admitted that he is honoured to be linked to Chelsea and Barcelona.
The 49-year-old has been the mastermind behind Ajax’s remarkable success this season and gained plaudits for steering the club past the likes of Juventus and Real Madrid to reach their first Champions League semi-finals for 22-years.
And there has been some speculation in the media that we may look to try and secure his services at the end of the season, if Maurizio Sarri fails to bring the Europa League title to Stamford Bridge against Arsenal.
Addressing speculation over his future, Ten Hag said: ‘It’s an honour to be linked with big clubs like Barcelona, Bayern and Chelsea but I have a contract with Ajax and I am happy here.
‘There are no problems for me. I am happy and I’m planning my future here, I am not thinking about leaving.’
[the_ad id=”164″]Also, Juventus have confirmed Chelsea target Max Allegri will be leaving the club at the end of the season.
Despite leading us to two finals and back inside the top four of the Premier League, there has been a lot of talk in the media suggesting that we could sack Maurizio Sarri after the Europa League final against Arsenal at the end of the month.
Allegri has led Juventus to four successive league and cup doubles and two Champions League finals during his spell in charge.
In a brief statement on the club’s website, Juventus said: “Massimiliano Allegri will not be on the Juventus bench for the 2019/2020 season.
“The coach and the President, Andrea Agnelli, will meet the media together at tomorrow’s press conference – Saturday 18 May, at 2pm (local time) in the press conference hall of Allianz Stadium.”
And, the brother of Juventus star Paolo Dybala has admitted the attacker wants to leave Turin this summer.
There has been so many players linked over the past few months that we have forgotten who could arrive at the end of the season, but one name that has been mentioned as a possible signing is that of Dybala, the Juventus superstar.
Dybala has netted the second-most goals for the Turin club this season, striking 10 times as well as chipping in with four assists, but is reportedly unhappy at playing second fiddle to Cristiano Ronaldo, who arrived from Real Madrid at the end of the season.
Recent reports from Italy have claimed that Dybala is very close to leaving Juventus in the coming weeks as he seeks a fresh start, and now Gustavo believes his brother will not be the only player looking to leave Massimiliano Allegri’s side at the end of the season.
“There are many possibilities that Paulo leaves Juventus. He needs a change,” Gustavo told Radio Impacto show Futbolemico.
“I can’t say that right now [if he will go abroad or stay in Italy]. Before he was at ease in Italy, now he is no longer.
“Let’s say that Paulo is no longer at ease and happy, as many other Juventus players are no longer well. He is not the only one who will leave.”
Finally, Mauro Icardi has told the likes of Chelsea that he now wants to stay with Italian giants Inter Milan.
Despite the fact we are facing a transfer ban for the coming transfer windows, there has been a lot of speculation about whom we could try and acquire during the summer window, with the Argentine striker linked with a move.
But after months of speculation and rumours linking him with a move to the Premier League, he has now admitted that he wants to stay with the club and it was never his intention to leave this summer.
He posted on his Instagram (Via Calciomercato) : “Since in recent times the press has said stuff that doesn’t reflect my thoughts and will, I want to inform our fans that I have told the club several times that my intention is to stay at Inter.
“So from today onwards, there will be no misunderstanding of any kind. I repeat: I have already told Inter about my will to remain because the Inter is my family. Time will tell who told the truth. Forza Inter, always,”
