‘I want to achieve many good things at Chelsea’ announces latest signing
New arrival Djorde Petrovic wants to follow in the footsteps of Branislav Ivanovic and Nemanja Matic at CHELSEA .
The club have been eyeing up the stopper for the last couple of weeks after the decision was made to allow Kepa depart the club and make a loan move to Spanish giants Real Madrid.
We only signed Robert Sanchez just a few weeks ago – but Mauricio Pochettino was keen to get another goalkeeper in that will challenge the former Brighton man – and Petrovic is the player that has been found.
And after sealing his move to Stamford Bridge – Petrovic has opened up and says he is keen to replicate his fellow countrymen by representing the Blues in the Premier League.
He said: “I grew up watching a lot of Premier League football so it really is a dream for me to be here now. I love the intensity of the league and the passion shown by the supporters.
“I know a lot about CHELSEA . I remember watching Drogba but, as a Serbian, I liked to watch players like Ivanovic and Matic.
“I’m the next Serbian to play here and I want to achieve many good things at Chelsea like they did!”

This was definitely an interesting signing from the club
