Exciting winger Omari Hutchinson has informed CHELSEA that he would like to stay at Ipswich in the summer window.

Hutchinson has been instrumental in helping Ipswich return to the top flight for the first time since the 2001-02 season, contributing 10 goals and six assists from 44 Championship matches, but he is due to return to the club this summer.

We have not yet made a decision on the immediate future of the young man, The 20-year-old is only under contract at Stamford Bridge for another year, and there are quite a few clubs that are very much interested in a transfer deal.

But speaking to Sky Sports News after Ipswich sealed a top-two finish, he revealed that he wants to stay at Portman Road for a little while longer.

“I hope to stay at Ipswich Town also next season. We’ll see my agent and the manager says… I am speechless. It’s the best loan I could have ever imagined!,” Hutchinson said.

Hutchinson has proved that he is a very good player in the Championship – he has developed very nicely and it would be a very smart idea from the club to see just what he is able to do in the Premier League.

He is not quite ready to challenge for a place in that  side next season – but one or two seasons in the Premier League could push his development.
