Bundesliga superstar Pulisic ‘heading to Chelsea’ announces Raphael Honigstein
Journalist Raphael Honigstein has claimed Borussia Dortmund star Christian Pulisic is now set for Chelsea.
The Dortmund midfielder has long been linked with a move to the Premier League, with Liverpool and Arsenal both looking to rival us for his services.
He is one of the most talented players in the Bundesliga, but Dortmund have decided to cash in during the next couple of transfer windows after the emergence of England International Jadon Sancho.
And ESPN and Der Spiegel journalist Honigstein has claimed that Pulisic is all set to sign for Chelsea.
He told the Sunday Supplement: “My understanding is that Chelsea are the only team that have made a firm offer at the moment.
“Dortmund are looking to see if there are other offers coming in as you would, but it is kind of agreed that the player will move in the summer definitely because he still has a year to run on his contract.
“Unless someone matches Chelsea’s offer or exceeds it, he’ll go there.”
Does the lad have the quality to be a hit here?
If the reports are true and Pulisic is coming to Stamford Bridge, then it will be a great bit of business for the club as the American has the qualities to be a real star of the Premier League for the next few years.
Hopefully he will not be signed as a replacement for Eden Hazard, as they would be a formidable team.
